FAQs

Meghalaya trip questions, answered

How much does the Meghalaya package cost?

It depends on your group size and trip length. For 4N/5D it ranges from ₹19,500 per person (2 travellers) down to ₹11,800 per person (14 travellers). For 5N/6D it ranges from ₹22,800 down to ₹13,800 per person. The bigger your group, the lower the per-person price. Use the selector above for your exact rate. 5% GST is extra.

Why does the price drop for bigger groups?

The private vehicle and fixed road costs are shared across all travellers, so the per-person price falls as the group grows. Smaller groups use a Dzire or Innova; larger groups use a 13- or 17-seater Tempo Traveller.

What is the difference between 4N/5D and 5N/6D?

The 5N/6D trip adds an extra night in Shillong and a full day exploring Laitlum Canyons and Krang Suri Falls — one of Meghalaya’s most beautiful waterfalls with a natural swimming pool. Both cover Shillong, Cherrapunjee, Dawki and Mawlynnong.

What is included?

Accommodation on double sharing in 3-star hotels, daily breakfast, one exclusive private vehicle for all transfers and sightseeing (point-to-point as per itinerary), and all driver allowance, toll tax and parking. Rates are for Indian nationals.

What is not included?

5% GST, airfare/train to Guwahati, lunch and dinner, entry tickets, boating and water-sports charges, and any personal expenses. The vehicle is available per the itinerary (not at disposal).

When is the best time to visit Meghalaya?

October to May is ideal — clear skies, full waterfalls (best right after the monsoon) and the famous turquoise Dawki river. The monsoon (June–September) is lush and dramatic but very wet, as Cherrapunjee is one of the wettest places on earth.
