No visa is needed for Indian travellers, but an inner-line permit is required for certain areas like Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass and North Sikkim. We arrange these permits for you — just carry valid ID and passport-size photos.
March to June offers pleasant weather and blooming rhododendrons, while October to December brings crystal-clear Kanchenjunga views. Winter can bring snow at higher points like Tsomgo and Nathula. The monsoon (Jul–Sep) sees landslides and is best avoided.
