• Four hotel nights with breakfast. Twin sharing. Three comfort levels; the hotels for each are listed below.

• Dedicated car and driver throughout your trip. A private air-conditioned car, 8am to 8pm each day, for every transfer and every sightseeing stop on the route.

• One night on an Alleppey houseboat, with lunch, tea, dinner and breakfast included. About twenty hours on the water. Board around noon, moor overnight, disembark after breakfast. Meals are cooked on the boat.

• Tolls, permits, parking and driver allowance. Interstate permits included.

• One Flynk point of contact throughout the trip. A Delhi phone number, before, during and after travel.

   Day 1 — Kochi to Munnar

   Meet your driver at Kochi airport and drive up to Munnar, about four hours.

   • –Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls on the way
   • –Check in at Munnar; evening free

   Day 2 — Munnar

   Full day of sightseeing. Munnar is about tea estates, viewpoints, waterfalls and relaxed sightseeing rather than a packed activity schedule.

   • –Optional: Eravikulam National Park, subject to seasonal opening.

   Day 3 — Munnar to Thekkady

   Drive across to Thekkady, three to four hours.

   • –Boat ride on Periyar lake (afternoon)
   • –Spice plantation walk
   • –Optional: Kathakali performance in the evening

   Day 4 — Thekkady to Alleppey, houseboat night

   Drive down to Alleppey, about four hours, and board the houseboat around noon.

   • –Afternoon cruise through the backwater canals
   • –Lunch, evening tea and dinner on board
   • –Overnight moored on the boat

   Day 5 — Alleppey to Kochi

   Breakfast on board, disembark around 9am, drive to Kochi.

Want it shorter or longer? The 4-night version drops Kochi. The 6-night adds Kovalam beach and the 7-night adds Kanyakumari. Same car, driver and houseboat arrangement.

Same route, same car, same houseboat. The difference is where you sleep.

Package prices; flights, hotel lunches/dinners and entry tickets are extra (listed below). In Munnar and Thekkady the rooms are non-AC at every level: the hill stations are cool enough that hotels there do not fit air conditioning. Kochi hotels and the houseboat bedrooms are air-conditioned.

What is extra

• Flights. Delhi to Kochi and back is typically ₹9,000–16,000 return per person depending on how far ahead you book. We can book them with the package if you want one invoice.
• Lunches and dinners at the hotels. Breakfast is included at every hotel, and lunch, tea, dinner and breakfast on the houseboat. For the rest, budget ₹400–800 a head per meal. Dinner at the hotels every night can be added for roughly ₹3,500 per person for the trip.
• Entrance fees. Monument, park and boat tickets are paid at the gate, about ₹300–800 per person per day. The Periyar boat and Eravikulam are the main ones.
• Personal expenses. Tips, laundry, phone, room service, spa.
• Travel insurance. Not included. We can suggest a policy if you want one.

Season note:the prices on this page are for travel up to 30 September, Kerala's monsoon. Rain comes in bursts, rarely all day; the houseboat runs regardless, and Eravikulam is the only stop that may close. Travelling October onward? Message us for the winter rate card, which is different.

   Pay by UPI or bank transfer once you are happy. Vouchers and the driver's number reach you before you fly.

Travelling with friends or family?

The car and driver cost the same whether two or six people are in it, so the per-person price falls as the group grows. Hotel-night figures use an Alleppey hotel instead of the houseboat night; the houseboat option for four or six needs a larger boat and is quoted on enquiry.
