Verified 2026 essentials for the destinations Indians ask about most.
Schengen Visa (Europe)One Schengen visa lets you visit up to 29 European countries — from France and Italy to Switzerland, Spain and Greece. Indian passport holders must apply for a short-stay (C-type) Schengen visa before travelling. A common myth: ETIAS does not apply to Indians — that's only for visa-exempt nationalities. You still need a proper visa.
Typical documents: passport valid 3+ months beyond return with 2 blank pages, completed application form, photos (35×45mm), travel insurance with minimum €30,000 medical cover, confirmed flights and hotel bookings, day-wise itinerary, last 6 months' bank statements, ITR for 3 years, employment or business proof, and a cover letter.
2026 note: the EES biometric entry/exit system is now active. Remember the 90-days-in-any-180-days rule across the whole Schengen area — overstays are now detected automatically.
UK Standard Visitor VisaIndians need a Standard Visitor Visa for the UK — there is no visa-on-arrival and Indians are not eligible for the UK ETA. Since February 2026 the UK issues a digital eVisa linked to your passport through a UKVI account instead of a sticker. The 6-month visitor visa fee is around ₹16,300 (UK fees rose in April 2026).
Typical documents: passport, online application via UKVI, biometric appointment at VFS, photographs, 6 months' bank statements, ITR for 3 years, employment or business proof, accommodation and flight details, and a sponsor letter if someone is hosting you. India has a high UK visitor-visa approval rate when applications are well prepared.
Processing is typically 15–20 working days; priority service is available at extra cost.
USA B1/B2 Tourist VisaThe US B1/B2 visa covers tourism, visiting family and short business trips, and is usually issued for 10 years with multiple entries. Most first-time applicants must attend a personal interview at a US consulate. A new Visa Integrity Fee applies from 2026 in addition to the standard MRV fee (~$185), so budget for the higher total.
Typical documents: passport valid 6+ months, DS-160 confirmation, appointment confirmation, 2×2 inch photograph, 3 years' ITR, 6 months' bank statements, employment or business papers, travel itinerary and a cover letter explaining your trip and ties to India.
Appointment wait times can be long — plan months ahead. If your previous US visa expired within the last 48 months, you may qualify for the interview-waiver (dropbox) facility, which is much faster.
UAE / Dubai Tourist VisaOne of the easiest visas for Indians — the UAE tourist visa is a fully online e-visa with no embassy visit, no interview and no biometrics. A 30-day visa costs roughly ₹7,500–₹9,500 and a 60-day visa roughly ₹14,700–₹18,000, usually processed in 2–4 working days. Express processing is available for urgent travel.
Typical documents: a clear scan of your passport (valid 6+ months), a passport-size photograph, confirmed return ticket and hotel booking. Some applicants may be asked for bank statements.
Tip: if you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen visa or residence permit, you may be eligible for UAE visa-on-arrival — ask us to check.
Thailand VisaThailand's entry policy for Indians is changing in 2026. India was moved from 60-day visa-free entry to Visa on Arrival (around 15 days, roughly 2,000 THB) by a Thai Cabinet decision, taking effect after publication in the Royal Gazette. Until that takes effect, the earlier visa-free rules still apply — which is exactly why we verify the live position for your travel dates.
Always required: passport valid 6+ months, the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) completed online before arrival, a confirmed return ticket, proof of funds and accommodation details. For longer stays, an e-Visa is the better route.
Beware of scam sites charging for the TDAC — the official arrival card is free. We'll point you to the correct process.
Singapore e-VisaSingapore requires an e-visa for Indians, processed through authorised agents in about 3–5 working days (roughly ₹2,500–₹3,500). You'll need your passport, a recent photo, Form 14A, a covering letter, recent bank statements and employment or business proof.
Malaysia — Visa-FreeGood news for 2026: Malaysia is visa-free for Indians for stays up to 30 days, extended to 31 December 2026 under Visit Malaysia Year. You must complete the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before arrival and carry return tickets, hotel bookings and proof of funds. Visa-free covers tourism, not work or study.

Yes. Indians need a Schengen visa to visit the 29 Schengen countries. ETIAS does not apply to Indians — that's only for visa-exempt nationalities. You apply for a short-stay C-type Schengen visa before travelling, and the EES biometric entry/exit system is now active at Schengen borders.
The embassy fee plus the standard VFS centre charge typically comes to around ₹11,000–₹14,000 per adult. That's the official cost — our service charges are separate and shared with you upfront. Travel insurance with at least €30,000 medical cover is mandatory and is an additional cost.
Thailand's policy is changing in 2026 — the Cabinet approved moving India from visa-free entry to Visa on Arrival, taking effect after publication in the Royal Gazette. We verify the current status for your exact travel dates before you book, so you always carry the correct entry document.
Yes. Indians need a UK Standard Visitor Visa and are not eligible for the UK ETA. Since February 2026 the UK uses a digital eVisa linked to your passport instead of a sticker. The six-month visitor visa fee is around ₹16,300.
US B1/B2 appointment wait times in India can range from a few weeks to several months depending on the consulate, so plan early. The visa is usually issued for 10 years. If your previous US visa expired within the last 48 months, you may qualify for the faster interview-waiver (dropbox) facility.
No honest agent can guarantee a visa — the final decision always rests with the embassy or consulate. What we do is maximise your chances with correct documentation, a strong cover letter, accurate forms and interview preparation, so your application is as strong as possible.
Several offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry, including Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka (free ETA) and Malaysia (until December 2026). Rules change frequently, so we confirm the current policy for your travel dates. See the full visa-free list above.
