Cambodia's e-Visa is straightforward, and the single most misreported fact about it is the price.
What it costs
USD 36 per visa, on the government portal. You will find dozens of sites — some of them large, respectable travel brands — telling you it is USD 30. That figure is the visa-on-arrival price, paid in cash at the airport counter, and it is a different product. The e-Visa, applied for online and approved before you fly, is 36 dollars on the official portal. We print that number here because it is what the government's own page says.
That gap is also how the scam sites work: they advertise 30 dollars, collect 60, and file the same 36-dollar application.
What you get
A single-entry Tourist (Type-T) visa, valid three months from issue — meaning you must enter Cambodia within that window — allowing a stay of up to 30 days from the day you land. The approval letter arrives by email, typically within three working days. You print it, and the visa itself is stamped into your passport on arrival.
The step almost everyone misses: the e-Arrival Card
Every traveller arriving by air must submit a Cambodia e-Arrival Card within seven days before arrival. It is not a visa. Holding a valid e-Visa does not exempt you — the immigration department states explicitly that all travellers must complete it even if a visa has already been granted. It replaces the old paper immigration, health and customs forms, generates a QR code, and it is completely free on the official portal.
Any website charging you for an arrival card is charging you for nothing. We submit it as part of your file, at no cost, and send you the QR code.

- That is it. No bank statements, no hotel bookings demanded at application stage.
Where the e-Visa works, and where it does not
The e-Visa is accepted at the major international airports and at a limited set of land crossings. If your routing enters Cambodia overland from Thailand, Vietnam or Laos, tell us the crossing point before you apply — an e-Visa presented at the wrong border is a wasted 36 dollars and a very long taxi ride.

Send the passport scan and your dates. We check the photograph (that is the usual rejection), file on the official portal, pay the fee, submit the e-Arrival Card, and hand you the approval letter and QR code together with a one-page brief on what to show at immigration.
