Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Bali, transfer to Kuta
We meet you at Ngurah Rai airport and drive to the hotel at Kuta, 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. Check in and the rest of the day is free. Kuta beach is a short walk from the hotel.
Day 2 — Kuta beach and Tanah Lot
Breakfast at the hotel, then the coast. Kuta beach in the morning, and in the afternoon the drive north to Tanah Lot. The temple sits on a rock offshore and the causeway floods at high tide, so the walk out depends on the tide that day. Go late and you get the sunset.
Day 3 — Kintamani, Ubud and the coffee route
A full day inland. Celuk for silver and gold work, Mas village for wood carving, then Ubud palace and Ubud market. In the afternoon the road climbs to the Kintamani viewpoint over Mount Batur and its crater lake, with a coffee plantation stop on the way back down.
