Karnataka–Kerala 6N/7D — Mysore, Coorg & Wayanad
Seven days across two states: Mysore, two nights in Coorg, then across into Wayanad for Edakkal Caves and Banasura Sagar, returning through Bengaluru. Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Bengaluru to Mysore
Land at Bengaluru and drive about three and a half hours to Mysore. Depending on arrival time: Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill and Devaraja Market. The palace illumination runs Sunday evenings and public holidays.
Day 2 — Mysore to Coorg
En route, stop at the Namdroling Monastery (the Golden Temple) at Bylakuppe. About three hours of driving plus the stop. Check in at Madikeri.
Day 3 — Coorg sightseeing
Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat and Madikeri Fort. Dubare elephant camp and Talakaveri are optional add-ons. Coffee estates line most of the day's roads.
Day 4 — Coorg to Wayanad
Cross into Kerala through coffee and spice country, about four hours. Check in and evening at leisure.
Day 5 — Wayanad sightseeing
Edakkal Caves in the morning (a steep 45-minute climb; tickets at the gate), then Pookode Lake and Banasura Sagar dam.
Day 6 — Wayanad to Bengaluru
A long return day: six to seven hours' drive, arriving by evening.
Day 7 — Departure from Bengaluru
Breakfast and airport transfer. Allow 1–2 hours for Bengaluru traffic.

Things to carry
- · Photo ID for every traveller, including children — hotels ask for it at check-in
- · A light rain jacket or a compact umbrella
- · One warm layer: hill station evenings drop to 12–15°C even in summer
- · Walking shoes with grip, not new ones
- · Mosquito repellent
- · Any regular medication, plus motion-sickness tablets if you are prone to them — the ghat roads have a lot of bends
- · A power bank — long drive days and few charging points at the viewpoints
Cancellation policy
More than 30 days before departure: we retain ₹3,000 per person and refund the rest. 30 to 15 days before departure: 25% of the package cost. 14 to 8 days before departure: 50% of the package cost. 7 days or less, or no show: 100%.
Festival dates and a few resorts carry stricter terms of their own. If any part of your booking is on non-refundable terms, we tell you in writing before you pay anything — it will never be a surprise at the cancellation stage.
Refunds go back to the account you paid from, within 7 to 10 working days of the cancellation being confirmed.
Flight tickets, once issued, follow the airline's own rules and are refunded only to the extent the airline refunds us.

Will the price change after I enquire?
The exact total for your dates is confirmed in writing before you pay. Some dates carry supplements or are unavailable; we tell you that at confirmation, not after.
Are entry tickets included?
No. Transport to every listed sight is included; entry tickets and activity fees are paid at each site.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
City and coastal hotels have A/C rooms. Hill-station hotels provide non-A/C rooms because of the cooler climate — this is standard across categories.
How much driving is there?
Coorg to Wayanad is about four hours, and the Wayanad–Bengaluru return is six to seven. The other days are around three hours.
