Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Madurai to Kodaikanal
Land at Madurai and climb about three and a half hours to Kodaikanal. Evening at the lake.
Day 2 — Kodaikanal sightseeing
Coaker's Walk, Bryant Park, Pillar Rocks and Green Valley View, with boating on Kodaikanal Lake (tickets direct).
Day 3 — Kodaikanal to Madurai
Descend to Madurai, about three and a half hours. Meenakshi Amman Temple in the evening, including the closing ceremony if timing allows.
Day 4 — Madurai to Rameswaram
About three and a half hours, crossing the Pamban sea bridge onto the island. Darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple, known for its 22 wells and the long corridor.
Day 5 — Rameswaram to Kanyakumari
Around five hours south. Sunset at the southern tip, where the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean meet; the Vivekananda Rock Memorial ferry runs till late afternoon.
Day 6 — Kanyakumari to Kovalam
A leisurely morning, then about two hours up the coast to Kovalam. Beach afternoon at Lighthouse or Hawa.
Day 7 — Departure from Trivandrum
Breakfast and transfer to Trivandrum airport, about 30–40 minutes from Kovalam.

Things to carry
- · Photo ID for every traveller, including children — hotels and some temples ask for it
- · Clothes that cover shoulders and knees for temple visits; men are asked to remove shirts at a few shrines in Tamil Nadu
- · A pair of socks — temple floors get very hot by midday and shoes come off at the entrance
- · A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- · Any regular medication
- · A small bag you don't mind leaving at the shoe counter
- · A light rain jacket or a compact umbrella
- · One warm layer: hill station evenings drop to 12-15C even in summer
Cancellation policy
More than 30 days before departure: we retain ₹3,000 per person and refund the rest. 30 to 15 days before departure: 25% of the package cost. 14 to 8 days before departure: 50% of the package cost. 7 days or less, or no show: 100%.
Festival dates and a few resorts carry stricter terms of their own. If any part of your booking is on non-refundable terms, we tell you in writing before you pay anything — it will never be a surprise at the cancellation stage.
Refunds go back to the account you paid from, within 7 to 10 working days of the cancellation being confirmed.
Flight tickets, once issued, follow the airline's own rules and are refunded only to the extent the airline refunds us.

Will the price change after I enquire?
The exact total for your dates is confirmed in writing before you pay. Some dates carry supplements or are unavailable; we tell you that at confirmation, not after.
Are entry tickets included?
No. Transport to every listed sight is included; entry tickets and activity fees are paid at each site.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
City and coastal hotels have A/C rooms. Hill-station hotels provide non-A/C rooms because of the cooler climate — this is standard across categories.
